Hello, Welcome back! It feels so good to be writing on here again, I have missed this little space.
I was scrolling through my pictures on my phone the other day and I have soo many that I would like to share with you on my blog, so I thought I would do a little ‘Catch up with me’ style post. I have to warn you, there are lots of photos involved, but I personally prefer pictures to writing (I know, I am 5 years old ha.) So grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy. Also, thank you for sticking around, I will try not to leave it so long next time.
After our trip to Cornwall I still had a few days off work, so decided to go home for a night. For people who don’t know, I live in Worcester but my family still live in Nottinghamshire, where I’m originally from. The weather was beautiful, so sunny and hot, so my mum and me decided to take Arthur a walk (our family dog) to some woods that are near where we live. It was so nice to be at home, spending time with my family and just switching off for a little while.
James and me visited Croome Court in Worcestershire. Croome Court is a National trust park that has a beautiful house (that once belonged to the 6th Earl of Coventry) and gardens to explore.
If you live in the Worcestershire area I would highly recommend going. There is so much to look at, even in the rain. When we went it was such a miserable, rainy day (don’t let the pictures fool you!) but we still had an amazing time wandering around… even if I wasn’t appropriately dressed (must buy an anorak for next time).
I’ve been noticing all the blossom trees this spring. I have never really noticed them looking so beautiful before, but it has been so lovely to see. Of course, I had to take a
million few pictures of the blossom to share with you…
…Capturing every day moments like my beautiful pink tulips I purchased from Tesco and the amazing colour of the sky whilst I was walking home from work one day. Sometimes it’s the little things that make you happy!
Spetchley Park Gardens in Worcestershire opened again recently, so James and I went to explore.
Like Croome Court, I would highly recommend Spetchley park gardens if you live in the Worcestershire area, as it is stunning. It is an historic park/garden that has an amazing variety of rare, beautiful plants/flowers to look at, a lake, a grand house (that I don’t think you can go in?) and a tea room that sells amazing ice cream. It is my all time favourite place to go in Worcester; it really is a beautiful, hidden gem.
Gorgeous flowers at Spetchley. I love the flowers on the right, but have no idea what they are called. If you know, please leave me a comment!
We went a trip to Stow-On-The-Wold, which is a little market town in the Cotswolds. We are slowly making our way around the different towns/villages in the Cotswolds, as they are so pretty to have a stroll around.
Stow-on-the-Wold, like other places in the Cotswolds is very quaint, with a few shops and tearooms. I don’t think you could spend all day there, but for a few hours it was nice to wander around. I also spotted this beautiful cottage with all the Wisteria growing up the front. I want to live there.
That is mainly what I’ve been up too since I wrote my last blog post, I hope you enjoyed all the pictures! Leave me a comment to let me know what you have all been up too since my absence; I would love to catch up with you all.
