Beauty | Winter Skincare Saviours

Winter Skincare favourites

Hello Happy Sunday, Hope you are all OK! Seeing as it’s gotten slightly colder in the UK (it did get very cold last week, but seems to be mild again..), I thought I would share with you the two winter skincare saviours that I love to use…

Winter Skincare favourites

Bobbi Brown Skin Nourish Mask –

I have written about this face mask before here if you want to have a read. I absolutely love using this product all year round, but especially notice a different in the winter months when the weather plays havoc with my skin.

The Skin Nourish Mask can be used up to three times a week (I just use it once, or maybe twice a week if I’m feeling fancy) to add extra hydration to the skin.

To use, I apply liberally to my cleansed face, wait around 10 minutes (until some of the product has sunk in) and then rub any remaining product into my skin and leave it on over night. In the morning, I wake up with such soft, plump and glowing skin!

This product is jam packed with hydrating ingredients such as Salicornia (Samphire), which is a plant found near the coast land. Samphire has many amazing skincare benefits such as helping to slow down the ageing process and making the skin look hydrated and plump.

The Skin Nourish mask is aimed at people who have normal to very dry skin. However, like I have mentioned previously, I have more of an oily skin type which is prone to breakouts. Thankfully, I find this product works for me and doesn’t cause my skin to erupt in lots of spots!

*Jo Malone London English Mint & Ginger Lip Care –

English Mint and Ginger is such a luxurious lip balm and now having experienced it, I couldn’t be without it!

This lip balm is enriched with lots of amazing ingredients such as; Moringa Butter – proven to hydrate the skin & has natural healing properties, Rose flower wax – to soothe the skin and Kukui Seed Oil – to condition and protect the skin from environmental elements.

Not only is it full of hydrating ingredients, it has an amazing scent which is to be expected from Jo Malone London products.

Eventhough the product looks small, you don’t need a lot of this product for it to work, a little goes a long way! It also has a matte finish on the lips, so doesn’t feel greasy or tacky and can be worn over lipstick.

So that is my round up of my two winter skincare products that I couldn’t be without! Let me know in the comments what your favourite winter products are, or if you have tried any of the above that I have mentioned.

  1. I’m loving the sound of the Mint and Ginger lip balm, it has so many healthy ingredients! It sounds like a perfect product for the winter and even better that it smells nice too! Now I want to have a pamper evening with a face mask, it sounds blissful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Sophie, both of these products sound fantastic! ❤ xx

  2. Two really great looking product choices for Winter, Sophie! The mask sounds like a great one for extra hydration. I bet this gives the perfect skin base for makeup to go on after using it. The lip balm sounds great too. The matte finish sounds awesome, as does the fragrance and the fact that a little bit goes a long way. ❤
